Trump attends No. 1 Texas at No. 14 Tennessee in Knoxville after Air Force One flyover
President Donald Trump attended Saturday’s college football game between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, landing at 11:28 a.m. ET ahead of the noon kickoff after an Air Force One low-altitude flyover as teams warmed up, the Associated Press reported. His motorcade arrived as the national anthem was sung at 11:59 a.m., and he was shown on the videoboards seated between Tennessee’s U.S. senators, including Marsha Blackburn, who is running for governor. University officials opened the stadium 30 minutes early for Secret Service screening; ABC/ESPN reported both schools worked with the Secret Service on audio channels after coaches warned that presidential movements can interrupt headset communications between coaches and players.
